Make no mistake about it, I really am this much of a nerd. Trust me, it could be worse.

Not only are there (finally!) leaves on the tress, but they’re purple! I took these photos on my lunch break – they’re all within a block of my office. This is the BU Admissions Office.
I love my job. My assistant and I both got a half-dozen yellow roses from a colleague in thanks for a project that she and I (mostly her) have been working on recently.
I saw this when I got off the bus a stop early to grab my morning coffee from Feretti’s. Get it? The light is green, and the Citgo sign just says ‘GO’

Just trying to run a simple after-work errand and I got caught in typical Fenway Park foot traffic. This is what I get for working in Kenmore Square.
We were 10 for the first seder last night at my parents’ house. I still feel full from all the amazing food mom made. (the fourth photo is from last year, when we had 22)
When I came home from work today, I opened all of my windows for the first time this season!!

Not a bad spot to unwind with Brian after work. This is the view of the Mass Ave Bridge from a park bench right along the Charles River at the park behind my office. Those tiny white triangles are sailboats, and there were crew teams out, and even a few ducks

this sounded perfect

That big giant hunk of brick is my building. This is where I wait, patiently, for my bus. At least I got to watch the beginnings of a decent sunset.

Because Gwen is awesome and because Adam’s in town (far right, in blue), Gwen hosted a cozy impromptu Friday night dinner party. My friends were kind enough to indulge me so I could get a group photo of the folks I hang out with these days. And some guy we met a few weeks ago.

This is what I see when I exit my office and turn left. Not bad. Beautiful weather today … warm and breezy. Spring is coming

Three generations on mom’s side: Alex and I (first cousins), my mom, and Lainey (our grandfather’s first cousin)

This is THE ONLY plant-life on Comm Ave that seems to have gotten the memo about the start of Spring.

it got into the 50s today but it’s staying in the 30s and 40s all through next week. i want summer. now. please.

My aunt was in town, and she prepared a delicious dinner for us at my cousin’s apartment (I tried salmon!). The clear table, fresh salad and multiple shiny/reflective surfaces work really really well together, if I do say so myself.

I worked on all six of these paintings today. I feel productive, satisfied, tired and hungry.

fake flowers, at dusk

The best little cafe in the world is just a few blocks from my house – it’s a greenhouse and a cafe, and they make the most amazing breakfast sandwiches. This is usually a little Saturday morning treat to myself, but they were closed for the last few months!

It was pouring rain. It’s really hard to see in this picture, but the roof was leaking a lot. It sounded amazing.

Roommates, friends, friend’s cousin, beer and trivial pursuit in my own kitchen on a Wednesday – how do you beat that?

Too sore to go to work, but not sore enough to keep me from painting all day!
My friends went to a basketball game, and then I joined then at Green Briar for an early dinner. This photo makes most of them look badass.

These are other photos that I’ve taken of the Christian Science center complex in the last few years.
