We spent a long weekend in Colorado with LOTS of family to celebrate my cousin’s wedding, starting with an incredibly pleasant dinner at my aunt and uncle’s gorgeous new house.

Mel has a strict policy about not working on her birthday, and I felt it was necessary to support her in this endeavor. We checked out the brand new Boston Public Markets, we wandered the Greenway, we spent 90 minutes wandering the harbor on a sailboat, we had a delicious dinner at Back Deck, and we saw Kinky Boots at the Opera House!

My cousin and his wife had a baby several months ago, and we finally got to meet the newest member of our family! We also got to enjoy an incredible NYC skyline from their Brooklyn apartment.

It’s always wonderful to see a dear friend, especially one I only get to see every other year or so! We spent a lovely pleasant weekend in New Jersey hanging out with Jamie and her adorable kiddos, and Other Becky who also traveled to visit. We ended the weekend with an awesome meal and Benihana’s, and little T was absolutely captivated by the table-side cooking extravaganza!

Who knew there was an incredibly pleasant Mexican restaurant with awesome outdoor seating down a weird alley in Newton Center? Deanna and I caught up over sangria and delicious food … I love our date nights!

When one of your dear friends get married, and it’s someone you’ve known for 23 years, you can’t possibly hope to capture all of the wonderful moments of an incredible day … so thank goodness for wedding photographers! I got a few random shots, but this hardly captures a wonderful evening full of old friends, good food, great music, lots of dancing, lots of laughing and maybe a few tears. We couldn’t be happier for this incredible couple!

Another lovely Memorial Day Weekend filled with family, great views and delicious food!

I love it when last-minute plans work out perfectly! I had plans to spend Saturday afternoon visiting Liz and Lee, and their girls who just turned 1! When I found out that an old friend was in town, we made plans for her to come too, without telling Liz! It’s always amazing when someone you’ve been friends with for nearly 20 years shows up at your doorstep 🙂 We spent a perfectly pleasant afternoon hanging out with squirmy squealy happy little girls, and catching up.

After a delicious lunch, Brian, Stanley, Rachel and Olivia hung out while Mo and I worked together on a web project. A perfect mid-winter Saturday in between storms!

The little ladies turned four on Super Bowl Sunday! We had to miss their birthday party, but we got watch the Super Bowl with the birthday girls. They borrowed my camera to capture a few portraits (and a lot of blurry randomness), and Laura took a precious photo of Uncle Brian reading bedtime stories. Go Pats!!

My parents hosted several friends on the fifth night of Hanukah. Mmmm mom’s latkes …

We spent the afternoon helping my mom make batch after batch after batch of delicious cookies!

Lunch, errands and coffee with two adorable little twins, and their awesome parents!

We hosted a Fall Feast potluck so we could get a bunch of our friends together and eat delicious food!

We wanted to see some colorful New Hampshire leaves, and it had been too long since we’d seen Sara and Eric, so we made some last-minute plans and drove to Keene, NH. We had an incredible brunch at the Stage Restaurant, wandered around for a bit, then headed over to Mt. Pitcher and walked to the top for some incredible views!

My parents set a beautiful table (as always) for our first Rosh Hashanah in the new house.

My cousin Alex was in town from Australia! We hosted a little family gathering and served some of our local favorites: Legal Seafoods clam chowder, apples and cheddar with caramel, and pumpkin pie!

So good to catch up with the beautiful Fiorentino family at the Harvard Fall Festival!
