Montreal Botanical Gardens

Wednesday, December 28th, 2016

Most of Montreal’s Botanical Gardens were under a few inches of snow, but their greenhouses were open, and we had a magical afternoon wandering through the various fairy tale lands with gorgeous colors, textures, sounds and smells.

We had never been to Tanglewood before, and a few weeks ago, we got tickets to see Yo-yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble. It was a beautiful evening, and it was an absolutely unforgettable concert.

Sunset over the Rockies

Sunday, August 23rd, 2015

As we were saying our good-byes to family heading back to the Denver airport, we noticed that the sky had cleared up a bit and the sun was setting over the Rockies in the distance. Hard to capture, but really beautiful.

Leafy Crafts

Tuesday, October 7th, 2014

My inner 8-year old needed an arts and crafts project, so I decorated a box with pretty autumn leaves. While walking along Baystate Road during my lunch break, I collected several lovely leaves all in excellent condition. I flattened them a bit, then mod-podged them to a box I had lying around just waiting to be decorated. So pleased with myself 🙂
